When customer reps redeem the images of their companies


A few weeks ago I posted an editorial entitled When customer reps ruin the images of their companies In my editorial and it gave me no pleasure to identify the companies in my editorial.

Today, I am very pleased to share an example of a customer rep from one of the companies that I identified in the above titled editorial who in my respectful opinion went way and above the call of duty to redeem his company’s reputation.


This committed customer rep really turned things around for me.  For whereas previously MR BI told me to find someone else to help me because he could not, this customer rep with the initials of FQ took the time to help and assist me via phone.

He spent over an hour with me; patient, explained every step of the way to me, and at the end of it all we discovered that due to a technological glitch, my difficulties were the result.


O how I wish that more companies had committed customer reps like FQ.  The Optelec company in Montreal Canada is extremely fortunate to have someone like FQ; patient, knowledgeable, and who does not give up until the problem is solved.  Above all, he even offered his assistance for future reference.  Maybe his colleague BI could take a page out of FQ’s book?


Just my two cents for today.
