The goal is to put in place a basic communications strategy to support the advocacy efforts of Barrier Free Canada. Some ideas for what this might include are:

  • Website
  • Twitter/Facebook/YouTube presence
  • Newsletter style email templates
  • Logo
  • Letterhead
  • Consistent branding across these platforms

Potential features/characteristics of the website might include:

  • Word Press website
  • Redirected to domain
  • Could use a testimonial video to explain in a more personal way why average citizens should care about this issue
  • Means of posting material such as updates, letters, party commitments, policy papers, etc. and a mechanism for inviting comments
  • A form visitors can use to sign up to receive email updates
  • Website expected to be up for a minimum of several years
  • Hope is to launch before end of year
